In the ordinary life of Crayon Shin-chan

Chapter 1480 Going Out with Dad (Part 1)

Chapter 1480 Going Out with Dad (Part 1)

Outside, a cold wind was blowing. At the Nohara family home, Shin-chan and Hiroshi were huddled together in a kotatsu (heated table).

"It's so warm here~ Even if it's cold outside, it's still a paradise inside, right~" Hiroshi said with a sigh as he listened to the sound of the cold wind outside.

"Paradise, Paradise~" Shin-chan nodded in agreement.

Misae walked in with a vacuum cleaner at that moment. Seeing that they hadn't moved, she said, "I want to use the vacuum cleaner to clean!"

"Huh?" The two looked at Misae in confusion. Why bring this up when you're just cleaning?

Seeing their expressions, Misae repeated, dissatisfied, "I'm going to use the vacuum cleaner!"

"Okay~" The two nodded, but still did not move.

"...I'm not asking if you're okay, I'm asking you to move aside!" Misae looked at them helplessly: "Even if you don't want to go out, you should at least move around a bit. Asahi too, hiding in the study on the second floor. Shin, you guys are not acting like children at all. You're all children of the wind."

"Oh~" Shin-chan lay on the table, seemingly unconcerned.

"Hey, hey, hey, I'm going to move the kotatsu (heated table) and vacuum it. I'm telling you to go somewhere else!" Misae said irritably, looking at the two who hadn't moved.

Hiroshi and the others had been lifting half their bottoms up so Misae could clean them up, but when they heard Misae's words, they were immediately puzzled: "Then where did we go?"

“Going for a walk would be fine too!” Misae immediately suggested.

"Ah! It's so cold!" Shin-chan immediately shook his head.

"How can you be so afraid of the cold at such a young age!" Misae said to Shin-chan with displeasure, "Go, call Asahi downstairs too, the three of you go out together!"

"Ah~" Shin-chan suddenly puffed up his face.

"What are you 'ah' about! Hurry up!" Misae glared at Shin-chan, who immediately climbed out of the kotatsu and ran upstairs.

"Huh? Why are you pulling me?" Mingxu asked, puzzled. After being pulled down by Xiaoxin, he came to Misae and watched as Xiaoxin saluted Misae: "Report, Xiaoxu has been pulled down!"

"Okay, all of you get dressed and get ready to go out. I think we should be able to finish cleaning in about an hour." After saying that, Misae watched them get dressed and then pushed them out the door.

"Alright, alright." Hiroshi sighed helplessly. Really, why is it so troublesome?

"Dad, where are we going?" Shin-chan asked Hiroshi, puzzled.

"You decide, I'm fine with anywhere," Hiroshi said nonchalantly.

"This is a headache, where is Xiaoxu?" Xiaoxin asked, looking at Mingxu.

"Me too, do as you please." Mingxu shrugged. He was reading upstairs when he was suddenly called out, and he really had no idea where to go.

"This is a real headache," Shin-chan said with a helpless expression.

Looking at the group, Misae suddenly remembered something: "Oh, right." As she spoke, Misae went inside and brought out a kite: "Here, take this out to play. It was a gift from Akita's grandfather." As she spoke, she handed the kite to Hiroshi.

"Wow~ Squid squid~" Shin-chan exclaimed excitedly as he looked at the picture on it.

"No way." Mingxu scratched his head, unable to understand the pattern.

"It's just a kite." Hiroshi took it, looking at Shin-chan with a hint of helplessness.

"You could say that~ Hehe~" Shin-chan looked at the kite indifferently and reached out to take it.

"Yes, kite. You should take this kite and have some fun. It's quite windy outside." Misae said with a smile.

"Alright." The group turned and went out to the grassy area by the river, where the open space was perfect for flying kites.

Although, the wind here is really strong.

Upon arriving here, a cold wind blew by, and Shin-chan sneezed: "Dad, is this the North Pole?"

"Yes, yes, it's as cold as the Arctic..." Hiroshi also clutched his collar tightly, trying to ward off the biting wind.

"Dad, have you ever been to the Arctic?" Shin-chan asked Hiroshi curiously.

"No, I haven't been there." Hiroshi shook his head. At that moment, a cold wind blew over again, and the two of them started shivering again.

"Alright, if you don't get up, you'll get even colder," Mingxu said helplessly as he stretched his body.

"Okay, let's fly kites." Hiroshi nodded and looked at Shin-chan.

"Okay~" Shin-chan raised his hand, and then the three of them stood on the grass, with Hiroshi holding the kite and Shin-chan holding the kite string.

"Okay, Shin-chan, run!" Hiroshi shouted to Shin-chan, shivering a few times as he felt the cold wind.

"Yes!" Shin-chan nodded and started running, pulling on the rope.

But Shin-chan hadn't run far when a cold wind blew in his face. Hiroshi had just let go of his kite, and Shin-chan suddenly stopped, and the kite stopped as well.

Looking at the kite on the ground, Hiroshi looked at Shin-chan with a helpless expression: "If you don't run, the kite won't fly!"

"But Daddy's too cold!" Shin-chan shouted in dissatisfaction.

“Running will warm you up!” Hiroshi shouted again.

"Really!" Xiaoxin shook his head again in refusal. Mingxu scratched his head and said, "Otherwise, I'll run it."

“Alright, then Xiaoxu, you run. Xiaoxin, you follow along.” Guangzhi said, and then Xiaoxin handed the rope to Mingxu. Mingxu started running ahead, while Guangzhi followed behind with the kite.

As Mingxu ran, the kite gradually began to rise. Guangzhi seized the opportunity, gently letting go, and the kite wobbled and soared into the air. Mingxu ran faster and faster, and the kite flew higher and higher, soaring steadily in the cold wind. Xiaoxin watched from the side, his eyes sparkling with excitement, jumping up every now and then, trying to grab the kite string dancing in the air.

"Wow, it's flying so high!" Shin-chan exclaimed, his face beaming with joy. Hiroshi also looked pleased, watching the kite soar freely in the sky, as if all the cold and fatigue had vanished.

"Dad, I want to try too!" Shin-chan suddenly ran over, tugging at Hiroshi's clothes and looking at him expectantly. Hiroshi smiled and nodded, handing the kite string to Shin-chan. Shin-chan took the string and held it carefully, afraid that the kite would fall.

Encouraged by Mingxu and Guangzhi, Xiaoxin slowly began to run. Although he was a little clumsy at first, with his efforts, the kite didn't fall; instead, it flew more and more steadily. Xiaoxin ran happier and happier, his face beaming with a proud and satisfied smile.

Looking at the kite floating in the sky, Shin-chan's face was full of excitement. However, a gust of cold wind blew by, and Shin-chan suddenly gave up on the kite and hid in Hiroshi's arms. His kite string was also caught by Akira, who took the kite back. "Alright, that's about enough playing here. But the wind is getting stronger and stronger."

"Okay, but it hasn't been an hour yet," Hiroshi said, glancing at the time with some uncertainty.

"Dad, I want to eat a meat bun." Shin-chan suddenly thought of something: On such a cold day, eating a steaming hot meat bun would be such a wonderful thing!
