Chapter 1153: The Saint And Magnito Show 2.
“I’ll go kill the human lord. Can I trust you to take care of everyone around this area?” Magnito asked as his body slowly began to levitate into the air.
“Now, now, what do you take me for? These weaklings wouldn’t even be able to make me sweat. Please, don’t make me laugh. Go ahead i would leave that fat meat for you,” Saint said as he pulled at one of the ropes of his cloak. The cloak fell away, revealing his true body and exposing his identity.
By now, the area around the city gates had already been surrounded by at least three hundred guards and captains, ranging from Tier 4 to Tier 6, and all of them were staring at Saint.
When they looked at him, all they saw was someone whose entire body seemed to have been carved from stone.
However, there was nothing ordinary about the stone used to form Saint’s body, it looked modified even under his equipments, and it was like the body had been shaped with such perfection that even the details of his muscles and every other defining feature couldn’t be faulted.
Saint’s body looked like the masterpiece of a grand sculptor.
After being dazed for a moment, they finally regained themselves, and one of them shouted the order to attack.
Immediately, Saint moved his hand behind him and drew one of the ten blades on his back. This one happened to be a broadsword, with a slight curve at the handle.
The blade flew through the air and pierced straight through the heart of the guard charging at the forefront toward him.
But that wasn’t all. The mana in the air suddenly began to get drawn into the sword embedded in the body of the guard Saint had just killed, that strange phenomenon caused the other guards to stop in their tracks, trying their best to understand what was happening before them.
And right before their eyes, they watched as metal and earth elemental properties were drawn toward the sword like it was the core of all the weird happenings, as the elemental particles coalesced together to form a figure.
That was how another humanoid golem appeared. Its body had been created from modified magic clay and was covered in a lighter type of metallic armor.
The design looked almost gladiatorial, with the armor covering the entirety of its left arm and most of its upper body, while its right arm remained bare, that free hand was already gripping the sword.
Its eyes carried long black zigzag lines, giving it a fierce and unnatural presence.
This was Saint’s first captain-rank golem, called Broad Sword, named after the weapon from which it had been formed.
Unlike most golems, whose cores were hidden somewhere inside their bodies, Saint’s captain-rank golems were different. Their swords were their cores. Not only did the weapons serve as the core, but they also shaped the golem’s body and were wielded by it at the same time.
The moment it fully formed, a wild smile spread across Broad Sword’s face. In one smooth motion, he pulled the blade free from the chest of the guard he had just killed. By then, the guards who had stepped back earlier were already charging toward him again.

In a single move, Broad seemed to turn into a ghostly blur, moving at a speed ordinary eyes could never hope to follow. Yet there was still one thing that revealed his path as he moved—
the sharp, prominent sword Qi he kept releasing with every step.
When the split-second movement ended and he appeared at the far side of the crowd, the bodies behind him began to fall, many of them had nothing more than a thin line across their throats.
The sight of so many bodies dropping in an instant made even the guards who hadn’t been in that line of attack shiver.
But even then, they still had no choice except to keep charging at the intruders who had invaded their land.
“Lord Magnito, you may proceed now. My lord will meet up with you soon,” Broad said to Magnito, who was still levitating overheadm, as a clear path had already been carved out for him as Broad skillfully deflected an attack aimed in his direction, and in that same motion redirected his blade into the neck of the attacker.
With that statement, Magnito flew off as his silver board appeared beneath his feet, carrying him through the air as though he were gliding on the wind.

However, the moment Magnito disappeared from view, Saint began drawing out the rest of the blades on his back one by one—weapons like a katana, a long two-handed sword, a saber, a greatsword, shuang gou, an odachi, even a machete, butcher knife, and a short sword.
All Saint had to do was fling them out, and bodies would form around them, gripping the blades, but he made sure each weapon first killed someone before the body fully took shape, and that was how ten different-looking golems appeared.
Though they all had bodies made from modified clay and were clad in metallic armor of varying styles, each one carried the distinct nature of the weapon that birthed it.
And in just two minutes, all the guards had been wiped out, Broad led the front, while the Katana Golem and the Saber Golem attacked from different angles.
“Spread out and wipe out any stragglers from the city lord’s army. I’ll be making my way toward the castle.”

By the time Magnito reached the castle that housed the human lord, he was met by another group of mage warriors who seemed to serve as the lord’s elite guards.
There were many of them, though Magnito was confident he could handle them all. But he was in a race to kill the human lord before Saint did, because even though Saint had stayed behind at the gate, Magnito didn’t believe for a second that he had simply left the fattest loot for him.
So Magnito decided to call out his own minions for this one, he stretched his hand forward and cast a spell, causing his hoverboard to tilt upward slightly and widen into a circular shape.
It shimmered the way a portal normally would, and figures began dropping from beneath it. Loud thuds rang out as the special guards were forced to stare at the new enemies that had appeared before them.
The forms of Magnito’s golems were plain in design, they looked like warriors forged entirely from liquid metal that had suddenly solidified into shape, their whole bodies made of pure steel.
On their heads, there were no features other than their eyes—completely red and glowing with a cold, unnatural light.
The guards saw more of the sentinel-type metal golems emerging and immediately rushed forward, hoping to destroy the first few before the rest could fully come out.
However, the moment they drew close, the metal golem at the front charged too, as its left hand melted into a liquid state like flowing mercury before hardening again, this time taking the shape of a drill instead of a hand.
Then it thrust forward.
The spinning drill-arm bored straight into the mages at the front line, and with just one lunge, it impaled three guards in a single strike, the fact that the metal arm was rotating like a true drill made it horrifyingly easy for it to tear through three human guards at once.
